The housing is made of metal sheet and coated with electrostatic powder dye. They are available in three different models; lights when the main power supply fails, continuous lighting (one bulb), continuous lighting (twin bulb). It contains long-life NiCd battery, which can be recharged and discharged many times. Minimum discharge duration is 1 hour following the main voltage failure. This duration can be increased to 3 hours depending on the size and population of the building.
